Acting Safely

We have been learning about ways that we can 'Act Safe' in the classroom and in the playground. As a class we brainstormed all the ways that we can 'Act Safely', we then went for a walk around the school to demonstrate how we do this. Here are the ideas that the children came up with, we have some vey sensible students in Room 16!

In the classroom:
- stay away from power points
- walk carefully with scissors
- listen to an adult or a teacher

In the playground/around the school:
- walk by your parents to and from school
- stay away from the road
- be careful of cars
- hold an adults hand on the walking bus
- don't throw sand in peoples eyes
- take turns on the monkey bars
- walk carefully around the school
- don't go outside the school gates
- look after yourself and younger students
